It is a pity as the new app (that replaces this) doesn't support some important features and the ones it supports, are pretty basic (e.g no settings/testing for camera and mic). Microsoft also does not provide a solution for Skype for Business as well which is a serious drawback imo. Though in some cases I am quick to blame MS, in this case many of their rivals are in a similar state unfortunately.
