I have a friend who is a professional translator and apperantly speech to text is heavily used in that field (and thus translators often benefit from having quite beefy PCs).
- emodendroket 9y agoThat seems odd, since translators are usually concerned with written, rather than spoken material (the latter generally being the province of interpreters).
- ido 9y agoWhy? She reads the written source material and dictates it to the computer in the target language.
