- pc86 9y agoI think the point is that the "discussion" around the above points specifically is nearly identical every time it happens, and usually involves the same people. Almost everyone benefits when we just ignore the above points.
- rexpop 9y agoI would read the fuck out of a comprehensive blog post neutralizing the above posts.
- pc86 9y agoThere's no neutralizing "I deleted Facebook 5 years ago and never felt better!" posts. You either like FB or you don't. You want it, or you don't. The comments like that provide as little value as the check list above. I would argue they provide less because all they do is kick off an anti-FB circle jerk in the subthread, which kicks off the pro-FB responses, and so on. That's what I meant by the fact that they're the same arguments every time.
