However, "Record yourself" can be quite a bit of time and review and re-doing - three times for a 30 minute speech is 90 minutes. That's a lot of talking! The layout and structure of the advice provided is quite good, and I think it's a great reference point. As somebody who has been half-naked and tied up in front of about 10 people for the sake of making a student film, it helps reset the concept of performance a little.
