  Yes, absolutely. I gained visibility, connections, experience, new skills (marketing), and some money. You have to be committed for months, though. So your life at that moment must be compatible with such a commitment. I did it in 3 months, working on it monday to friday 1 hour at lunch and 2 hours at night, and almost all weekends. My wife's support was a key factor in keeping me healthy and focused.
