I lived for a few months in probably 30-40 square feet (2-3m^2), basically a hotel room with nothing but a bed and a window. Meeting up with friends was almost always out in public, except for some movie session every now and then in the room. I didn't really mind it, but I probably won't ever go below my current 400sqft anytime soon.
