Luckily Blizzard is saving startups by making Battle.net 2.0 unusable. The "social" features (facebook integration) are just a way of allowing your boss to see how much time you spend playing, the absence of LAN is a countermeasure to the "we have to check something in the storage room" excuse, the absence of chat rooms makes it so much more difficult to pretend you are typing away at that important document, the list goes on. The Chinese version of the game will have all of these features, Starcraft 2 is just a conspiracy to get the US back ahead.
