- jraines 9y agoNYC anecdata: a couple years ago my girlfriend at the time split a $2700, 400sq ft 2 bedroom on a 7th floor (!) walkup in Chinatown. Unrelated, but she's an architect and pointed out illegal parts of nearly every residential building we set foot in in NYC.
