- BoiledCabbage 9y agoNo It's not true that she paid more than she earned. Her marginal tax rate was 102%, this is extremely different than her effective tax rate being 102%. It's still an incredibly high marginal rate, but is nowhere near as crazy as the implied 102% effective tax rate.
