My first impression was "Oh great. The only thing we'll ever see from this is a bunch of luxurious overpriced Surface-branded hardware."
At least if they're sharing the spec with other manufacturers, we'll possibly get some reasonably priced hardware.
Myself, I'm crossing my fingers for some Raspberry Pi-class machines that'll work with this.
