Don’t Fly During Ramadan (2013)
- staticelf 9y agoScary story, but if the police would have done some kind of break in into his apartment, wouldn't they just break the door? Or do they usually find a key to open with? But.. I kind of understand the suspicion against someone who tests positve for explosive residue and claims to be religious. This is kind of an unpopular opinion, but when someone tests positve for explosive residue (I don't know how common it is though) it just seems reasonable to have extra precautions in place, but if they searched the man and all his bags probably common sense should take the upper hand and let him on the aircraft.
- klez 9y ago> I kind of understand the suspicion against someone who tests positve for explosive residue and claims to be religious This does not excuse them not giving him anything to drink for 18 hours.
- staticelf 9y agoOf course not. He should have been offered both food and water imho.
- maxerickson 9y agoMost people are religious. The odds are that someone with a positive result for explosives residue will be religious.
- staticelf 9y agoWell perhaps in the US but in the northen europe for example I would say most people are non-believers.
