I wonder if you can tilt the angle of the board to control for gravity and at least slow it down a tiny bit.
- jloughry 9y agoGalileo used that method (balls rolling on an inclined plane) to slow down gravitational acceleration enough to study it by eye. [Edited to clarify Galileo's use of a slightly tilted ramp.]
