Do you mind me asking what you'd be using those PCIe lanes for? Their 8c part is good for a couple of NVMe drives and a video card, that's quire reasonable. The only use for 44+ lanes I have in mind is a mining rig but that's probably beyond reasonable and quite niche. No?
