- theandrewbailey 9y agoBefore buying one of those fancy Coolermasters, I asked their website/store, and the AM4 bracket was out of stock. I ended up buying a Thermaltake, and if I change it, it will probably be watercooled.
- seanp2k2 9y agoYeah, I went with the h110i AIO since during pre-order they were the only confirmed by the manufacturer supported cooling solution in stock. Noctua also has AM4 versions of 3 of their coolers: http://noctua.at/en/noctua-presents-three-special-edition-am4-cpu-coolers-for-amd-ryzen http://noctua.at/en/noctua-presents-three-special-edition-am... (again, sold out when I pre-ordered, the D15 is otherwise a great cooler). The Crosshairs VI Hero also has brackets for AM3, so with that specific board you have many options for cooling. It also seemed like the board with the most support, so that's what I went with and it's been OK (mostly issues around RAM speed support which is actively improving -- currently at 3200mhz for 32GB (4x8)). RAM speed makes a big performance difference for Ryzen especially, but it's decent enough now that I'm comfortable recommending it. Get RAM from the QVL list and you're good to go.
