That would be a very bad thing. California has a serious shortage of housing, and putting a few new cities in this unused land would go a long way towards bringing rents down to something reasonable.
- aerodeck 9y agoPerhaps doing something to control an overheated housing market would help more than tearing up new land 100 miles away from cities whose prosperity derives from the 'network effects' of geographical proximity.
