    And then 10 years after that, California coffee would be overplanted and the price would crash. :-) The current almond glut is a cautionary tale. Lead times measured in years (sometimes decades) is one of the many problems inherent in being a farmer.

    Under the assumption that Hawaii supply will not increase at all in those 10 years, sure...
