Hmm. I'm not sure about this. Radiation is radiation - whether it's blue or UV or radio or x-rays. A sufficiently intense dose of any EM radiation will be potentially harmful. As an example the Visible spectrum sits between micro-waves and UV or x-ray - all of which are potentially harmful. If it's flaying skin I would say that definitely there could a risk.
