Great insight into how and why Pharma spends the highest percentage of its revenues on marketing, more than any other industry.
- theprop 9y agoI used to think a "miracle drug" would sell itself...I guess at $350k/year it needs some help?!
- afarrell 9y agoWhat other industry requires the customer to obtain permission to buy the product from someone with an expensive education? The only thing I'm thinking of is the military, and they have loads of lobbying costs and operational costs due to spreading their supply chain across many districts.
