If notifications could be brought to Hybrid Apps... that would be the swan song of iOS/Android. HTML5 can access all of hardware on the phone but lacks notifications so it's still not viable to only make Hybrid web apps.

- enjoiful 9y agoI don't think HTML5 can access the phone's camera. For my app, this is critical and another reason why we're stuck on native.
