- raverbashing 9y agoVersion 57 on Mac. "Older device or Web browser" Edit: updated to 58, still get the message. What a joke Edit2: Worked under FF on Mac
- madiathomas 9y agoMaybe they are sniffing for OS and assume you are using Safari.
- unicornporn 9y agoFor me it didn't work in Firefox on macOS, but it worked in latest Chromium. What a mystery.
- jiri 9y agoI am Win10, Chrom 58, same message. Yeah, what a joke.
- madiathomas 9y agoMaybe it is a load balancing strategy. Randomly tell people that they need a modern browser to control trafic.
- Kluny 9y agoVersion 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit), except I'm on a Mac. Is it possible they've got a bug that misidentifies Mac browsers?
- madiathomas 9y agoThey probably assumed everyone using Mac is using Safari. I have seen lots of code shared on programming forums that simply check for Mac and assume the person is using Safari.
- matt4077 9y agoThen you should read better "programming forums", because I haven't seen anything like that since the late 1990s, and it's preposterous to think that something produced with this level of quality would commit such atrocities. Also, it does work on Chrome, Chromium, Firefox.
- madiathomas 9y agoOne of those forums was Stackoverflow. I don't know a better programming Q&A forum than SO. Please share so that I can switch to them.
- acchow 9y agoIt's not a mac problem. I'm on a mac. The site doesn't work in Chrome, but it does work in Safari.
- IIIIIIIIIIII 9y agoNo, same problem here with latest Chrome on Windows 10.
- jopython 9y agoThe site didn't work for Chrome on Ubuntu either with the same version. Firefox on Ubuntu worked though.
