What's specifically bad about Crytek?

  They didn't pay their employees for long stretches of time, the last such ending in their almost-bankruptcy.

  In addition to what the poster below me said, they treated certain employees as second class citizens and played a lot of shell games involving overtime and even salary. Basically they weren't very forthcoming to their Bulgarians when money dried up, opting to create a hunger games situation instead of asking for help and patience
