i've been exploring secure scuttlebutt for the last couple of days. very cool project built around a fully decentralized FOAF graph of peers publishing/storing/forwarding append-only logs. they even have some nice applications that you can use today! ipfs is a decent storage system, but i think there are better ways to model applications for a decentralized world.
