Am a guy. Also have this exact mental load thing in my head 80% of the day. I can see how it could be more common for women, but I think it's also a misinterpretation and simplification of how men think as well.

continued reading more. Agreed that it's a societal thing that's there from the upbringing and most men don't do enough to understand it.
