How much did Anker have to pay to have this full page ad on The Verge?
- JustSomeNobody 9y agoWhere's the balance? I mean, TheVerge is a tech blog. When does writing about tech cross the line into advertising the tech?
- brndnmtthws 9y agoWhat bothers me is that there's no way to know whether it's a paid advertisement, or a legitimate piece. This thing reads like astroturfing to me.
- L_Rahman 9y agoNilay Patel, who's the editor in chief at The Verge, in the comments: I asked Nick to go write this piece myself, after realizing all my nerd friends all carried around Anker battery packs and charging blocks. "Where did this company come from?" is a pretty good tech story pitch, you know?
