Has anyone done an analysis of MacOS and Chrome OS using similar methodologies? I would be curious as to the extent of the information being sent back to each of the "Mother Ships" in a side by side comparison, if that's even possible.
- kalleboo 9y agoLittle Snitch is a popular bit of software on the Mac, and pretty much everyone who uses thst goes through the first week of googling "so what's this weird background process do?"
- jmnicolas 9y agoA software firewall is useless, the OS can hide from it. You need something external to your machine to be sure.
