it's easy to minimize Google's accomplishment, but doing this at scale in a useful way and monetizing through advertising was revolutionary and has added billions of dollars of value to the market.
- graycat 9y agoI didn't want to "minimize" but just to characterize and clarify. I'm not being critical or objecting and did end with "okay". Page and Brin were right on the problem and the solution for the time. While I want my startup to be still more successful, I'll thrilled if it is as successful as what Page and Brin did.
