I get that people who don't understand something tend to belittle it.
However, I have never met someone who didn't understand how computers and internet work, at least on some basic level.
Most people at least understand computers and the internet enough to know that programmers are the gatekeepers - without them, there would be no internet, and computers wouldn't be able to do anything.
This is the first time I have come across a person who does not understand computers and the internet at all. I really hope I never come across another person like that author.

I write for a tech blog, and half... ok, 75% of the commenters on the posts I write have the same attitude as the author of this post.
- younata 16y agoWell, I've come across people who hate programmers of specific programs, but, this is the first time I've seen someone who hates all programmers for no better reason than envy.
