The guy is 52, no wonder they rejected him. Not saying they discriminate, but would they rather hire a guy with kids and family or single 20-something geek...?

The guy is 52, no wonder they rejected him. Not saying they discriminate, but would they rather hire a guy with kids and family or single 20-something geek...? I think the inclination for the latter has always been there for Google (and others?) and it's not really a secret.

Don't trust anyone over 30 or googles case "Don't trust anyone over 29.7" ~ http://efactor.blogspot.com/2005/10/i-dream-i-conquer.html http://efactor.blogspot.com/2005/10/i-dream-i-conquer.html

- Hexstream 19y agoWell then, why would the recruiter even bother inviting him?...
- simplegeek 19y agoIt's said the one of the HP co-founders always preferred to hire married men for obvious reasons (mature, more responsible, financial dependence and etc).
- Tichy 19y agoI thought married men are always preferred, less likely to just quit their job, if the wife is pushing at home.
