I didn't trade, but Italian army rations looked pretty good.
U.S. MREs are obviously awful when compared to pretty much any prepared food, but when you're genuinely hungry you mind that a lot less.
- chiph 9y agoToday's MREs are far better than the ones introduced in the 80's. Let me tell you about the joys of the "Dried Pork Pattie", which strongly resembled something you'd find out on the ranch, a few days after the cows had moved into another part of the field.
