You don't actually need to use the 3.0 preview for kotlin development in android. You can use the stable version and just follow the instructions provided by jetbrains: https://kotlinlang.org/docs/tutorials/kotlin-android.html https://kotlinlang.org/docs/tutorials/kotlin-android.html
