I'm starting out using my Amazon work experience to make efficient use of S3, SimpleDB, and EC2. But I am definitely open to lower-priced products built on other services and our own infrastructure. I'd love to talk with you about what your customers need.
- lsc 16y agomy customers need 1. cheap. (these are my customers, right?) and 2. Not managed or controlled by me. (the whole /point/ of backups is to cover them if I really screw it up, so backing up on to my own equipment is of limited utility.) Actually, a s3 clone at half the price would be about perfect.
