325 comments presently and sadly no one commented on what I find most exciting about Swift: integer overflow is trapped! FINALLY (the only other sane option is multi-precision integers, like in Scheme or Integer in Haskell). Does Kotlin do the same? I presume Kotlin also traps out-of-range array accesses.
