I bought and sold my home in Berkeley over a period of less than one year. I had no intention in "flipping it" - I simply couldn't tolerate my 1.5 hour commute.

I bought and sold my home in Berkeley over a period of less than one year. I had no intention in "flipping it" - I simply couldn't tolerate my 1.5 hour commute. I made money. That said, it was such an emotional an psychological effort I'm not sure how anyone could ever do this to earn money. I had a very very large leveraged bet, that could have easily went south. Flipping is crazy.
