I think you need to pick a different niche. I don't know what your computer vision focuses on but try to pick something the big players aren't focusing or has less mass appeal. It also says to me that if you become a domain expert for this niche and develop the models, etc. that you are ripe to get acquired by one of the major players as automation (and software) continues to eat the world.
