I mean, this is the case with every "life time" plan. Valid until the company goes bankrupt or has financial issues or changes it mind. Once there were life time "all you can fly" airplane passes for US$ 100k.

This is not a case of someone going out of business. This is a case of a healthy business not holding up their end of a purchase.
