They are. My second favorite apple after McIntosh. Neither's super common, at least in the Midwest, and unlike most US produce in grocery stores they seem to come and go (seasonally? But apples store/ship relatively well, so I dunno) even at the places that carry them. Fuji, gala, and red delicious seem to be the most common. Honeycrisp and pink lady are often available.
