Great idea btw. Great platform.
But .... this had 4 points when I first spotted it on the front page of HN. I've seen many things get more points and never make it to front page. Does HN mimic Product Hunt now in that there are super users who can push content to front page, or has it always been like that?

- sctb 9y agoYou can't compare points over time between stories directly because of the anti-abuse software. This story made it to the front page by user upvotes, nothing fancy.
- pyre 9y agoAdditionally, the number of users that have flagged a story isn't user-visible (flagging a story doesn't count as a down-vote on the story's score).
