Darwin award.. natural selection at work Actually that reminds me of a joke.. There is a guy sitting on the roof of a house in rising flood waters who turns away people trying to rescue him in two motor boats and a helicopter because he is sure god will save him. he finally drowns and turns up to the pearly gates and complains.. only to be told by St Peter he was sent two motor boats and a helicopter.... So surely if one wishes to be a person of faith, surely it would be reasonable to reason that God gave one a mind that can reason that entering water containing man eating animals would end in disaster and therefore the reasoning mind is God's gift to one in order for you not to do it and thus god has saved you.
