My wife is an MD who has used a lot of different EMRs at various hospitals during medical school and residency rotations. She said she actually likes Epic the best compared to all the others she has used. She said she likes it because she can define her own templates and "dot phrases" that make it easy to set up her own workflow. Also that it's nice that everything is all in one app - in other systems you'd have to be jumping between apps to look at lab results and patient messages for example.
