This article is garbage. Feels like the author pulled up a chair, sat in it backwards to seem hip, then laid down some "real talk, kids."
The author is a professor at a state college. Which means taxes pay for him to think up such nonsense.
- Nomentatus 9y agoThe author cites and answers many possible objections. You either have objections he doesn't mention, but don't wish to share with the class; or have better counterarguments which you don't wish to share with the class. Mere gainsaying is not a contribution to any discussion. As for style - I'm interested in the substance, he didn't go full on Platonian dialectic so consider yourself blessed I suppose.
