Ironically, my own experience and observations from salsa dancing have been biased towards long-term relationships. There are so many happily-married, engaged, or otherwise long-term couples in the London salsa scene. Obviously there's plenty of short-term stuff too. But you kind of get out what you put in. Other than the initial motivation to take classes in the first place, I do salsa because I like salsa. Surely the more important question you should be asking is why are you only having short-term relationships when you want a long-term one? What's stopping these relationships developing?
