Perhaps one of the solutions is to acknowledge that you cannot have it all ways. In general, society demands that men have all the positive traits of masculinity, without any of the perceived negatives. A woman may marry a man because he is a successful career-orientated man. Later, she may divorce him because he’s not sensitive enough to her emotional needs. Exceptions aside, certain traits tend to go together, for better or for worse, and this is the case with both masculinity and femininity. In this way, I wish people were more accepting and less judgemental.
