I work for a Fortune 50 that has excellent benefits. I mean we have a freeking pension which these days is rare. My healthcare providers are regularly surprised by what my medical insurance will cover without a fuss. And yet my dental insurance is garbage, despite the fact that presumably my company offers the some of the best care they can find. Combined with the high pressure sales tactics found in the modern dentist's office, is it any wonder people are afraid to go in?
