My experience with linode: * Customer for ~4 years * At one point my server catastrophically failed * No backups. Or, now it's an add-on for an extra fee. See point above. * They don't offer support for much... officially. But they make their internal IRC channel public so if you go in there and ask they'll just help you anyway.
