It seems like for that amount of money, you could have tried doing a bug bounty instead :/ I get that this is probably social hacking/phishing, so not really analogous -- but I wonder if there's a way to apply that kind of mentality to good. I wonder if there's white hat phishing (though I guess that might be oxymoronic).
