I cant speak for XFCE, but LDXE installed flawlessly on a normal Ubuntu installation.
- StavrosK 9y agoThank you. I tried it too, and it installed great, but in the process of tweaking one of the two, I changed some setting for appearance and now Unity has a weird theme. I think I liked LXDE more than XFCE, though. I will play with them some more and see, thank you.
