Visual Studio Code is the way to go on Mac.
- james-skemp 9y agoJust installed Visual Studio for Mac (I've been using VS Code for a while on Windows and Mac) and first blush I'd agree. But to be determined after actual usage. Code is definitely targeted to be lightweight, and it shows. I also am a fan of Code's look, versus the Mac wrapper around VS for Mac. I'll probably give VS for Mac a try via a .NET Core tutorial, but for day-to-day JS dev I'll probably be keeping with VS Code.
