Ask HN: What would a failure to protect US net neutrality mean outside the US?
I am not a US citizen, but my instinct is that the fact of so many of the internet's largest and most successful publishers, innovators, and content providers being based in the US means that the outcome of the current battle to protect net neutrality in the US will necessarily affect all internet users throughout the world.
Are there good resources to help non-US citizens understand the likely impact should efforts to protect net neutrality fail? And are there actions that non-US citizens can take to lobby for the retention of the Title II protections currently in place in the US?
