Ask HN: Why hasn't any startup fixed K-12 school lunches?
Giving the saturation of food delivery startups, I'm surprised there has been no disruption to the much-chagrined public school cafeteria. Working parents don't have time to make lunches and public school cafeterias in the U.S. serve notoriously low-quality low-nutrition lunches.
- pizza 9y agoI'm not sure there is a lot that startups can provide at the local/state level, while also generating large profits for VCs, that would seriously outperform the government's way to do it while simultaneously fitting within a school's operational constraints. I would like being wrong, though.
