Back in my first year of engineering I don't think I knew how to spell the word. My writing skills coming out of high school were just atrocious.
- pjscott 16y agoHow did you improve your writing skills? I absorbed mine from reading recreational books, but I'm curious how other people did it.
- pvdm 16y agoTalking to humans improved my writing skills :) Reading about mythology e.g. Joseph Campbell improved my story telling abilities.
- sliverstorm 16y agoDepends whether you mean spelling or writing. My spelling ability is probably most strongly linked to the reading I did as a youth; my writing ability is linked to both aforementioned reading, and the rigorous expectations of my literature teacher senior year in high school (god bless her)
